GALLATIN – Station Camp defeated Portland Tuesday night 65-30 behind a physical swarming defense which created a lot of transition baskets throughout the game.

“I thought we played sideways in the first half tonight. They were bigger and stronger at every position and they used (the advantage). They were swatting shots from everywhere. They didn’t call many fouls, they just out physicalled us. We have to learn to play in tough physical games,” said Portland head coach Darryl Travis.

“We had a run in the late third where we didn’t get back on defense and it became a layup fest. We just quit competing right there for a few minutes,” added Travis.
