HENDERSONVILLE- The Portland High School girl’s bowling team saw their season come to an end in the regional tournament on Monday afternoon to White House.

The Blue Devils got off to a fast start with a 7-1 lead after the first game, with Portland’s Leah High securing the lone point for the Lady Panthers with a 181-149 win over Miranda Cain.

Another strong game from High in game two gave Portland another point as she defeated Cain 165-151. The Lady Panthers got their third point with a 115-98 win by Maddie Taylor in game two.
Senior Kirstie Speakman bowled a career best 170 in game three for a fourth point for Portland, but ultimately, it wouldn’t be enough as White House won the match 23-4 to advance to the sectional round.
